Brioche knitting pattern |
Everyday I try to post at least 1 new article, so here I am, on my second day as a Blogger ^^
Today I want to share with you a very chic knitting pattern. This pattern looks modern yet so minimalist, and the most important is, it's very easy to make!
I first saw this pattern on Instagram, and I fell in love at first sight!! I search through in internet about this pattern. In Instagram, they call it Sailor Knitting Pattern. I couldn't find any knitting pattern with keyword "Sailor", so I look one by one knitting tutorials in Youtube, and finally I found it, yippie!! ^^
So let's get started...
Skill level : Easy
1. Number of stitches : multiple of 2 + 1 extra
2. The Formula :
- Row 1 : k1, *p1, k1 rep* to end
- Row 2 : p1, *k1b, p1 rep* to end
- Row 3 : k1, *p1, k1b, rep* at end k1
3. After finishing row 3, start over from row 2.
How to read the code :
k = knit
p = purl
k1b = knit one below
How to do knit one below :
1. Put your needle through the hole below your stitch, see pict. 1

I am still on progress to finish this scarf. I am using 2 yarn at one time to make a thick and fluffy scarf ^^ It's really really nice to touch. I also prefer yarn from bio cotton, because it's very soft and comfortable.
