Gradation Cowl Knitting Pattern

Hi Everyone!!

Today I would like to share a new pattern with you. This pattern is very easy to make. My suggestion for making this pattern, use a gradation color yarn! ^^ It will look more unique and not too plain. For my scarf below, I am using Cotton Plus Color, this yarn has ivory, light brown and peach color. I found this lovely yarn on my last trip to Wiesbaden. Okay then, let's get started..

Skill level : Easy

1. Number of stitches : multiple of 5 + 8 extra
>> the number of vertical line (see picture below) is equal to the multiple number.

2. The Formula :

- Row 1 : k6, *p1, k4 rep* at end k2

- Row 2 : k2, p4, *sl1 (wyib), p4 rep* at end k2

- Row 3 : k6, *sl1 (wyif), k4, rep* at end k2

- Row 4 : k2p4*sl1 (wyib), p4 rep* at end k2

How to read the code:
k  = knit
p  = purl
sl  = slip stitches without working
wyib = with yarn in back of work
wyif  = with yarn in front of work

3. Repeat row 1-4. That's all! ^^

I made two examples for this pattern. I am hoping to make an infinity scarf. I will give one of them to my friend who sent me a very lovely knitting needle map. I will upload her beautiful handwork on my next post.

Scarf #1

Gradation Cowl Knitting Pattern - My second work

I am using same yarn for both scarfs. I haven't finished with those scarfs. I will update this post at the time I finished my scarfs.

Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you enjoy this knitting free pattern and see you on my next post ;)

One more thing, I am sorry for my imperfect English, because English is not my native language, not even my second language, because I am an Indonesian who lives in Germany :)
